Biotin Without the Pill

I made this video last week when I randomly discovered a hidden love for fruit smoothies!

"potterlady1" on YouTube responded and suggested that I try a green smoothie. I like the color green, so I said SURE WHY NOT!? lololol. Until I looked at what it was. Fruit smoothies with vegetables? *vomits* I looked it up, got some feedback from many of you, and decided to be brave and try it.

I looked at what vegetables give a good source of Biotin and spinach kept coming up as a good vegetable. I bought a bag of spinach leaves from Walmart for about $3.28. I'm sure they'll last me for the rest of my life because there's so much.

I don't have a high powered blender. It has one option lol. So I figured it'd be best to go ahead and cut the stems off, before I ended up eating them lol. Smoothies are gross when you're eating chunks of fruit and leaves. Reminds me of a koala lol or cow

It was tasty! I have a smoothie for one meal everyday. Most days, it's just because I have a craving for it and I put so much fruit and yogurt in it that it keeps me full until the next meal. I'll update you soon to see if it's resulting in any weight loss. In the meantime, it's a great way to get a good source of Biotin without taking pills! Kale is another good vegetable to implement in!

  1. This is great! The alternative I came up with is to mix yogurt with pure fruit juice that is high in Biotin. I personally drink acaiberry juice that I get for about ten bucks from Walmart. It contains 100 percent biotin and several other great vitamins. I mix it with some yogurt and voila a healthy, tasty smoothie without a blender :)
