Welp. I know, I know... I've said that my hair is claustrophobic and doesn't like weaves, however, after viewing a video by PhillyDiva, I'm motivated to try putting in a sew-in. I like being able to switch my wigs, however, sometimes I get slightly concerned with it falling off. Also, with being able to remove the wig constantly, I only wear them for like a week or so. With it being so hot, maybe the sew-in will help me stick to the style longer and not have to worry about what I'm going to do with my hair lolololol. *shoulder shrug*
I've had my eye on the Milky Way Indian Hair, Indian Water for awhile, and when I saw it at the hairstore, I had to get it! The hair can be worn straight, by flat ironing it, but with water, it can get curly. The curl pattern of it once wet looks really natural in my opinion. At the hair store, they had a mannequin showing the hair once fully wet and dried, misted wet, and then flat ironed. SO with that being said, I'll give it a try!
The good thing about sewing it in myself, is that if gets to be too much on my scalp, I can wash it and maintain it on my own without being dependent on someone else.
I am going to attempt an invisible part sew in using the no glue method! If it works, this will be perfect for me with swimming. I'd be too nervous that the hair pieces that I glue on (like when I do my wigs) would come out in the water! LOLOLOL!!
Here's a pic of the hair!
I'll keep you all posted on how it goes!
