Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Shampoo
Here are its ingredients!!!!
Ingredients: De-ionized water, Decyl Glucoside (sugar beets), Cocos Nucifera (coconut) oil*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea butter)*, aloe vera leaf juice, vitamin E, Melia Azadirachta (Neem) seed oil, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate (coconut oil), Panthenol (vitamin B-5), rosemary extract, silk protein, Lonicera Caprifolium (honeysuckle) flower and Lonicera Japonica (Japanese honeysuckle) flower extract. *Denotes certified organic ingredients.
NOTE: Ingredients are listed in the order of their percentage within the ingredient. For example, if water is the first ingredient, the product contains a high percentage of water. The top 5-7 ingredients in a product are, suggestively, the ones to focus on the most.
1. De-ionized Water- Most products are about "50-90% water". De-ionized water is purified water that has been demineralized.
2. Decyl Glucoside (sugar beets)- Gentle cleanser. Plant-derived, biodegradable, and gentle for all hair types. This is the ingredient used in place of harsh sulfates.
3. Cocos Nucifera (coconut) oil*- Very good moisturizing oil. Helps products lather easily. May help make the hair stronger.
4. Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea butter)*- Aids in moisturizing and softening of the hair and skin.
5. Aloe vera leaf juice- Soothing and moisturizing. May serve as a humectant. Helps remedy hair loss and seborrhea.
6. Vitamin E- Moisturizing oil for hair.
7. Melia Azadirachta (Neem) seed oil- Relieve dry and itchy scalp, dandruff, and symptoms of scalp psoriasis. Helps achieve a shinier appearance of hair.
Most ingredients past the first 5-7 are low in their concentration and hardly worth mentioning. Many are fragrances or color dye.
Conclusion: You all ALREADY know how I feel about Shea Moisture! LOVE THEM! I have this product and have used it for a year now. Though I have noticed that most recently it has been a little too strong for my hair, for the past year it has delivered nothing but clean, yet soft hair. I appreciate their use of cleansers besides harsh sulfates. Now that I'm seeing the ingredients and understanding them, I love the product even more. #6thumbsup to this product!
Hope this helps! Let me know what other products you would like to see in this series!

I love the breakdown of the product ingredients. I'm thinking about using their entire line for my hair needs, instead of just hopping around from product to product.
