Testimony Tuesdays: 08/02/11

Happy Tuesday! Can you believe it's August already? WHERE IN THE WORLD HAS THE SUMMER GONE?!?!? It seems like I graduated yesterday, but at the same time, I feel like I've been on break forever *shrugs shoulders*


God has just been magnificent to me! He really has. When I look at the things He has done in my life this summer alone, I'm truly amazed! 


I'm not where I would have planned for me to be, but isn't it just like God to bless us even more than we could have perceived with our own minds.

• EMPLOYMENT! I'm happily employed and the doors for the possibilities within my classroom are multiplying over and over!
  
• SPIRITUAL GROWTH! I'm not where I want to be spiritually, but I'm so glad that for once, in a long time, I'm actually moving forward spiritually instead of backwards! I'm also really enjoying my involvement at my church teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir! Those ministries have been great blessings to me.
  
• NEW FRIENDS! It's so easy to feel like you have so many friends when you're in school situations because seeing someone every day can "force a friendship" because of the close proximity. So once I came home, I was nervous about maintaining those friendships and finding good Christian friends to surround myself at home (long story as to why I really have no friends here... I'll share that next week). Nonetheless, God has blessed/is blessing me with some great friends to spend time with who are great encouragements to me.
  
• CLOSER FAMILY! My family isn't perfect, but I really feel that this summer we've grown somewhat closer. I feel comfortable sharing just about anything with my family and if you know me, you know I've always been hesitant when it came to being close to my family members, because I always tried to hide things from them.
  
• BLOG CHANGES! This summer has pushed me to revamp some things on the blog, and I am really enjoying the changes. I love talking to the PND readers, viewers, followers, etc. and being able to share various content with you all! The blog, for awhile, seemed like a burden because it was getting overwhelming to have to find hair-related topics to talk about everyday, but I am so glad that you all have been open to reading other content. I am truly enjoying where this blog is going!

I'm just... happy! lol There's no other word for it! Well, blessed would be another one, so I take that back!
