Today's Menu: Thanksgiving Traditions

Someone please tell me why the year is passing us by.  I can't believe that Thanksgiving is next week already!! Oh and just so you know I'm the biggest procrastinator but this year I refuse to be in the grocery store on Wednesday morning shopping for my ingredients.  Nope, not happening.  I will be making my list TODAY and shopping for my ingredients TODAY. Maybe if I keep capitalizing and bolding the word TODAY it will actually happen. lol

Let's talk about traditions. Our family Thanksgiving traditions normally consists of my parents hosting Thanksgiving dinner at their house, and my Mother cooking the "bigger" dishes (dressing, ham/turkey, sweet potatoes, and potato salad).  Maybe two of those are not so big, but her's is soooo good!!!! My sis, sister-in-law, and I always bring something to add. This year I'm responsible for my homemade baked mac and cheese and of course I will be baking a dessert or two as well..not sure what yet - but I'll post that next week.  I just might try something new.

***Sidenote: I'm excited to use my new QVC Temptations bakeware***

Anyways, then my family goes over to my Mother-In-Law's house second because most times she cooks later in the day. She's not a big baker like my Mother so I make sure to hook her up! So we eat again, and spend time over there and then head home full, sleepy, and carrying more than enough plates to last a few days.

What are your Thanksgiving family traditions?? What you be hosting, cooking, or collecting plates? LOL Please share...and Have a Happy Safe Thanksgiving next week!  Until next time.
