My Review: I mistakenly bought this product when I was looking for a protein treatment to use after slight heat damage on my hair back in April. I was a little disappointed when I got home and realized this was just a regular ol’ conditioner. Nonetheless, I continued to use it. It didn’t deliver AHH-mazing results; it was just, conditioner. I don’t mean that in a bad way either.
I will say this- I had slight heat damage, or limper-than-usual curls, and after using this conditioner for a few weeks, I didn’t notice that my hair was limp anymore. Also, I used this conditioner for the whole time when I was taking swim lessons and swimming often and had no hair damage. Now, this doesn’t mean that it was a direct result of the conditioner; I’m just pointing that out. The conditioner does help with damage by chlorine according to its description, so I would like to believe that it’s true.
The Short and Sweet: 3 out of 5. I don’t think that this conditioner did anything amazing. I can’t say that the conditioner was the sole reason why my curls started popping again and I had no damage during swimming, so I can’t attribute those things to the conditioner. The ingredients are less than savory and the price tag for the conditioner is not something I’m fond of.
