My Newest Protective Style!

My wig finalllyyy arrived yesterday! Just in time to protect my hair from the snow! Check out this video as I explain why I purchased a wig, info about the ordering process, my first reaction to putting the wig on, how I fixed it to look more wearable, etc.

I will continue to do more videos with this look to show how I maintain my natural hair underneath, different ways to wear the wig, keeping the wig fresh looking, etc. I'll post pics here on the blog as well!

OH and I had some questions about how wigs are a protective style since it's not like twists or braids. Jamila of College Curlies did a greatttt article on the difference between protective styling and low manipulation style!
