"Get Yourself On A Schedule, Lazy Bum!"

This is what I've been saying to myself all winter break. LOL I've been on Winter Break ever since December 2nd and to celebrate how well of a semester I had, I let loose. I've been going to bed at 4AM and waking up at 1PM smh. This has made it extremely to maintain a schedule.

I can't eat 3 square meals because I wake up past lunchtime. I can't work out be.cause the only time I can is in the morning and I sleep through that. THUS, I've accumulated some weight, hence the pictures in yesterday's post.

I started Student Teaching today and am back in teacher mode. I teach from about 7-4 and then have a 2 hr break before having to go to my part-time job. So each night I have to plan all of my meals and snacks in advance. I make breakfast, pack lunch, throw in 3 snacks, throw in a light dinner, and my water bottle and tea.

As far as exercise, I'm still working on integrating that into my day, BUT having to be up teaching and getting 8 hrs of sleep keeps me from being lazy and sitting on the computer like I did all break. I read an article somewhere too about how studies show that those who get 8 hrs of sleep gain less weight than those who don't.

Moral of the story: Put yourself on a regimented schedule to jumpstart your healthy living/weight loss goals!
