First Attempt At Tangle Teezer!

Yesterday Sierra and I's Tangle Teezers came in the mail! I was so excited and quickly turned on my camera to do a "first attempt" video of it on my dry hair and then on wet hair too. I've heard so many people sing the praises of this thing and wanted to try it out.

However, my first attempt wasn't ahhh-mazing like I was expecting. That's what I get for reading/watching all of these reviews and being hyped up. So far, it's a regular detangler. It works well... but nothing spectacular.
  • It makes a weird noise when I use it and it concerns me.
  • I had lotttsssssss of shed hair.
  • I can't get that thing to feel right in my hand for anythinggggg.
  • It's not that easy to clean out, like I expected.
  • I still feel some snags when I use it.

So right now, no thumbs up, no thumbs down. Just a thumb sideways. I'll continue to try it out and post an actual review soon!

OH and to save money on shipping, both of ours came to my house and I'll take Sierra hers next week, so you're going to have waittttt for her review! :)

  1. I would not use that on dry hair. If I'm not mistaken, the directions say use on wet hair with conditioner. You are asking for damage with that on dry coily hair.

  2. It says use on wet or dry hair. There are actually scientists out there who say that it is better to detangle on dry hair because your hair is in its most fragile and weakest state when wet.

  3. the weakest state is dry. I love my tangle teezer and it does work wet or dry, but wet is best
