Then & Now: Rod Set

I was reminscing the other day and came across a picture of a rod set that I had done at the salon back in May.

Here's a recent pic (November) of a rod set done on my hair 6 months later. It made me really excited! I forget jusstt how short my hair was back when I first went natural.

Rod sets are a great way to stretch out the hair if 1) you don't feel like braiding or twisting or 2) you don't know how to braid or twist. The rods come in backs of 12 or 24, often for like, a dollar. If you're going to do them, I'd suggest applying Jane Carter Solution Wrap & Roll or Shea Moisture's Curl Enhancing Smoothie.
