Getting Back On Track!

My first half of student teaching is over! Yep, my time with my 1st graders is dunzo :( I'm pretty depressed about it. I love those kids! I have complete peace that I need to teach in grades K-2.

Anywho, now that I'm starting my last 2 months in 4th grade, I am reclaiming my path to healthy living!Today I loaded my teacher bag with snacks, including fresh fruit, and 64 oz. of water.

Here's my public affirmation of doing better:
"I, Jameka, solemnly promise to regain momentum on my track to healthier living. Starting today, Wednesday, March 9, I will drink at least 64 oz of water, always eat breakfast, and stay stocked with snacks. I will aim to be in bed each night by 11:50pm and wake up 45 minutes before I need to actually leave. I will also spend at least 15 minutes doing my devotions to clear my thoughts, stay encouraged, and grow spiritually. I will also lay out/iron my clothes for the week each Saturday and pack my lunch each night before school."

Has anyone else fallen off their plan to live healthier due to unforeseen circumstances? I haven't heard from e-buddies lately btw! So if you've fallen off, make your public affirmation here so that we can be held accountable!

PS no weight gain for me. Somehow I've maintained the weight that I loss, in addition to losing .5 of a pound. That brings me to 154.5!

  1. I sure did! SMH! but, I'm definitely in the mindset of getting back on track!
I, Cristine, solemly promise to get my life together one day at a time. Starting today, Sunday, March 13, I will drink at least 84 oz of water, exercise 3 times a week, and spend time meditating and reading my bible in the morning to prepare for positive days! I will manage my time better so that I can get enough sleep and be prepared for my day.

I so needed this! I definitely came back from spring break thinking "it's time to get serious again!
less than 70 days to graduation and I need to get my sexy on! LOL.

I'll be checking in more often. I hope 4th grade treats you well! =) <3
