Recently I did a post on my Easter attempt with a full Curlformers set -_________________-
Well I tried it again, except on blown out hair. I washed, DCed, and blow dried my hair in order to remove some split ends that I had. Actually, I take back that "some"... it's more like, the DOZENS of split ends that I had, most likely thanks to my detangling tools.
Here's pics of my 2nd attempt!
Everything was going good, however, humidity beat my hair up, and by the end of the day, here's how my hair looked.
I'll do a full post explaining my thoughts on Curlformers soon, but pretty much, my hair falls apart once it's separated. I think I need to apply some product to cause them to hold and stay put. I say a post on The Feisty House about how to get the set to last longer than a day, so I may take a look at that quite soon! I think I also may invest in getting the short and narrow and long and narrow, as opposed to these wide monsters lol. The few curls that I wrap in the short and narrow always turn out much nicer. I still love these things and won't give up hope! lol
Your hair is getting long! And it looks healthy. Question: have you tried just wearing your fro blown out? Because it looks beautiful like that. :-)
ReplyDeleteLOL girlll, no! I may do it one of these days though lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliments :)
do you use a setting lotion of some sort? because i have 4b hair (mostly) and I get smooth curls with shine. My curlformer results only came out like yours when i only used leave in conditioner
ReplyDeleteI've used both setting lotion and leave-in :(
ReplyDeleteI'll be trying again soon!
