Testimony Tuesdays: 07/05/11

*shouts from rooftop* I AM EMPLOYED!!
I am more than excited to share with you all that I have a job! :) I will be a 3rd grade teacher in the Fall! Last week's Testimony Tuesdays post was about me being unemployed and waiting on God.

Here's an excerpt from last week's post.

• So, at this point, I am happily unemployed BECAUSE I know that God is completely control and no matter what happens, I have no need to worry because He'll take care of me and my needs. When the time is right for me to get a job, the right school and the right grade will come along.

Last Wednesday, I decided to revisit the county listing of available teaching jobs. I applied for a good 40 more and said, "Alright Lord, these are all the job openings there are in the county. I've opened up my thinking and applied for positions I don't necessarily want, but I'm going to trust you."

The next day I went to work and when I got in the car afterwards, I had received a call from the HR department for the county calling to say that I had been offered a 3rd grade position at a nearby school!

GOD IS AN ONTIME GOD! Just when I was getting a little disheartened and flustered, He provided me with a job!  And to top it off:

• My salary is almost $2,000 than I originally thought it would be.
• I have the opportunity to go to a GREAT professional development course.
• The course will jump start my Master's degree, FOR FREE.
• I have a lead on a significant grant for my classroom.
• The principal, assistant principal and guidance counselor are AKAs. :)
• I have a small commute, if you even want to call it that.

When you wait on God to move, He truly blesses way more than you could have ever perceived!
