My Review: I'm a longtime fan of the shampoo in the pink bottle for thick, curly hair, but last year during the BOGO sale at Walgreens, I decided why not try this one. From the few times I used it, I had pretty consistent results. It left my scalp feeling clean and my hair was still moisturized. BUT, as I've said before, it smelled weird :-/ Like, wet dog. AND THAT is a smell that I absolutely DETEST! *shutters at thought* It completely turns me off to using the product. I'm not sure if my bottle just, isn't right, or if that's the smell they're going for. yuck.
The Short and Sweet : 3 out of 5. It did what it needed to do, but the smell is going to make me never pick this bottle up again!
This product is the best conditioner ever. I love what it does to my 4c kinky hair, it keeps it moisturized and I use this as my leave in and my regular conditioner and I have not found any other yet that can top it. So sorry the smell is what is going to keep you from using it, but mine does not smell like a wet dog.
ReplyDeleteHi Inesa,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment! I actually was reviewing the shampoo and not the conditioner.
I have reviewed the conditioner in the past and did like it and the smell. The shampoo, however, does not smell like the conditioner does.
My bad girl, but same with the shampoo I am sorry that the smell was bad for you. What other shampoo do you use?
