Meatless January: DAY FOURTEEN

Fourteen days down and my chicken cravings have disappeared! I'm blissfully enjoying my time of vegetarianism! Energy's up. Weight is down. and I'm not missing any meals! lol

As I hopped on the scale today, I saw that I'm down 4.5 pounds! #BOOMPOW

They say that living vegetarian can be tough for the first few days and then you're body gets used to it, and I think mine has.

Here are some of the things (or similar things) I've been eating:

  •  Vegetarian Bowl from Chipotle
  • French Fries from McDonalds lol
  • Vegetarian General Tso's
  • Meatless Spaghetti
  • Oranges, apples, pineapples
  • Fruit/Veggie Smoothies

One of the things that can be good from eating vegetarian is that it pretty much eliminates fast food restaurants. Hence why all I've been eating is french fries from McDonalds.

Also, knowing that vegetarian food can be... weird, it pushes you to be open to try new things lol. I never thought I'd like parmesan pita chips but I do.... (my students probably don't, seeing as I be blowin' my garlic breath all in their face though lol)

  1. This is cool! I have been doing the same thing too except I am eating seafood. If I really do well, I may give that up too! I just didn't want to replace my meats with a bunch of bread products. It takes time but I am slowly getting adjusted. I also am drinking daily green smoothies. It's been close to 14 days since I started and so far so good!
