I washed with my normal products from Brendita's Body Works (Sulphate Free Shampoo and Restorative Deep Conditioner). I oil rinsed and put it in a pony puff until I was ready to actually do something with it.
After 2 hours passed, I finally had decided to braid it up. I re-wet each section, applied Jane Carter Solutions Replenishing Conditioner, and Beija Flor Naturals Creme Brûlée. On the end of each medium-sized braid, I put a small curling rod. I let my hair dry for 2.5 hours before becoming anxious and unbraiding to see the results.
My hair was incredibly soft and defined, but if course that meant extreme shrinkage. I was not ready for that! I've been blowing my hair out so I was used to seeing that length.
So I re-braided my hair in larger braids, in hopes that my hair would look larger.... I applied the Shea Moistire Curl Souffle to each section, re-riddled the ends and headed to bed.
The end result was ok, but the souffle took the juiciness out of my hair and replaced it with a crunch. Ugh.
Here's my hair before applying the Curl Souffle.
Here's the final look post-Souffle.
