Why wait for Cupid?

Hey y'all.  I hope no one was in the house waiting for an imaginary figure to come shoot them with his bow and arrow (lol).  If you were, please stop.  Love will come to you in when it is suppose to.  And if you can't wait for that day to come, then I suggest you get out there and find your love on your own.  Why wait for Cupid right?

I promised myself that I would go out more and try to start dating.  Well since the beginning of 2012, I have not even remotely been in vicinity of an attractive man.  I have been to events to network and for the most part, these events have been packed with women (where are the men).  I know.  I know.  Men are not going to ride up to my door and present me with a night on the town (at least this is what my co-worker told me this morning).  This is not what I am looking for.

It seems that when I let people know that I am single, they want to know why, but they ask with the saddest face imaginable.  LOL...  I mean it's not a plague (or is it).  I think that I have come to accept my being single as a way for me o focus on other things that I have in the works. 

This past Christmas was the first time that I actually did NOT feel sad (or bitter) about my relationship status.  Of course, I would love to date and get to know someone.  But you guys know dating takes time and a truck load of patience.  If you have any of the latter, please sell me some, because I am fresh out.  LOL...  I am going to get it together and soon, but right now I have to work on me and get priorities straight.  In the mean and between time, you guys enjoy your week.  Ciao!
